About Adriatica

Hi, I’m Adriatica — a female artist working across skin, canvas and performance.

I discovered skin as my primary medium, Bodypainting was my first love and i'm an autodidact - later i went to a private make-up-artist-school and worked in this field for 10 years.

Synaesthesia gave me a real advantage here but this superficial industry fatigued me. So i started to tattoo and express myself through dance, i then became a dance teacher and a certified breathwork coach to deepen my knowledge in bodyart.

As a tattoo artist, i use breath throughout the sessions — charging each symbol with intention before tattooing (handpoke & machine). My work is rooted in spirituality while being very pragmatic, precise and responsible.

Recently i found my way back to painting on Canvas, which brings me great joy. I sell some artworks and i'm open to comissions and exhibitions.

I embody cultural hybridity: Brazil-born, Bavaria-raised, Berlin-shaped, Basel-based — fluent in five languages.

My vision is to transform humans through ART by either becoming it or witnessing it.
